brother sold another one. this ones going to ohio. maybe he's making room for more mavericks. the shop is starting to look a little empty.
holy crap, how many more falcons do you have? as much as i like mavericks i probably wouldnt give up that for another one lol thats gonna be one sweet ride for someone
cool. ive always been a big fan of early falcons. my friend was going to sell me a 65 2dr over the summer but i think that was the the year they changed the body style up and i really dont like those as much
I'm sure Rick got what he wanted for them (I'm not asking how much), but I'll bet those things would've bought a small fortune on Ebay. - They still might, one day.
Love that interior! Ford (and all of Detriot for that matter) knew how to make a real car interior back then! Now all they think of is neutral colors like shades of gray, tan, or if you are lucky... maroon. I'd love to see a dash in 'poke yer eye out red' on a modern American car. I have a center console like that one, but in black, and in falling apart condition. I am just keeping it to mock up in a Mav one day to see if it would look good there. If so, I will pick up a nice one. Have you ever mocked one up in a Mav to check it out? The one I have was in my uncle's 69 Fairlane FB for years. It looked cool as heck in that, paired up with some later Torino buckets. Dave
nice car. i had a 64 falcon sprint. white with a blue interior. wish i still had it. there's a guy local here with a white 64 sprint. he's the original owner.
Rather have that Falcon than a Mav in similar condition. Love that sleeper vibe. Cool cars I'm sure someone is happy. (great my wife saw it! Thanks! Now I have to keep an eye out for one of those too sheesh)
Cool...I was watching that car with a friend of mine (he was interested). Never realized it was your brothers. I think he got a fair price for it. Beautiful car!
he had about twice his reserve in it. i think they got a good deal. we had only driven it about 300 miles since it was done.
