List of Maverick Models?

went to toys r us today and got 1 of the JL christmas maverick ornaments. didn't see any other mavericks. only car black with flames was a vega.

Just Scored a Grabber BLue 71 COmet today at Toys R Us, also a Green coke JL maverick They had another Bronze Comet I left on the shelf I bought that one already, I pushed it to the back of the shelf to hide it for future reference.

 

Oh and what is meant by " unboxed" My grabber blue Comet came in a box??

 

When the 1:24 scale Mavericks and Comets were released, there were four different colors of Mavericks and four for Comets. MotorMax told me that only the white and yellow Mavericks and Honey Gold and Bronze Comets were being released individually boxed. The other two colors of each model were only available in the 4-car sets which most internet diecast dealers sell individually. They did not guarantee it would always stay that way, but yours is the first blue Comet I've heard of individually boxed. I'm guessing since you got it at Toys R Us, they may have struck a deal with them for some different colors than the ones previously available at Wal-Mart. I'll check with MotorMax about the other colors being individually boxed. I've got an inquiry in with them about the black Comet already. I'll let everyone know what I find out.

 

Well, I think the toys r us should definatly have a mav. Is motormax thinking about putting out a four door comet? Well, I guess not.

I Picked Up One Maverick And One Comet At Wall Mart (the Paint Uit Your Self Ones) They Messed Up In Packaging On The Comet And Put A Maverick In It

 

Oh man that sucks to think you have a Comet and get a Maverick I have 2 unpainted Mavericks, but haven't found any Comet Models kits either painted or unpainted
ANy one who has both has anyone tried graftingthe large bumper from the Maverick to the Comet grill and / or vise versa I'd likwe to try to make a big bumper 74 Comet I know the big bumper wouldn't be perfect but if I could do it I would .

 

Was at my Walmart last night and HOLY MOLY ... they finally got the Mavericks and Comet 1:24 's in ... They had 1 Red Maverick - 1 Primer Maverick - 1 Gold Comet - 1 Black Comet ... they were all kits ... I bought the Primer Maverick for my son for Christmas even though I said I was boycotting them until 71 Grabbers were available ...

 

I'm wanting to make a small bumper Maverick. I can use the rear bumper from one of my Comets but I need a front bumper. I have two of the primered Comets. May wanna make a trade with you for a primered Mav.

 

i just came from walmart and they had 3 comets and a yellow maverick. all the same colors that they had before.

 

I am too. They don't have ANY Mavericks or Comets at Wal Mart here, or Toys R Us, or Target. I'm having to consider Ebay!
