It is located about three miles down the road from me just off of Russell Rd. in Lawrenceville, GA. I can get a phone number for you if you're interested. Car isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It's for sale if someone comes along with the money, but they aren't advertising it or anything.

My parents have first dibs on the car if I ever decide to sell it, they like cruising around in it with the top down on weekends, which is really the only reason I put a radio in it. It's my car, but everyone here kind of shares it since it's a convertible. I enjoy driving the car and have no plans of selling it.

Oh, I definitely will. (y) I intend to take it up to Commerce and see what it will run, and post a video of that, too.

Was good meeting you, too! As for tuners... you must mean that annoying little buzzing sound about 10 car lengths back in the rear view mirror... :rofl2: I've smoked a few ricers with this car like they were standing still... but to be fair, a few did put a good fight.

I think you ought to put Grandpa's Boss 429 engine in there! ;)

LOL that would look cool as heck. Too heavy to be effective through IMO... we have a 460 built by Lamar Walden that was turning down in the 10's in a '72 Ranchero, and I don't mean a stripped down Ranchero either, this was a full body car with interior. I'd put some aluminum heads on that and drop it in before I would the stock Boss. I'd cut the firewall back out and move it back to the point where the rear of the carb is right up against the hood latch. That would be a beast...

I was down at Frank's vacation home (Summit) today, and they have some super nice super chargers on display. Those Paxton units are slick... I could tuck one of those right in there... no telling what I'll do to the car in the next year or three. I am going to get my Maverick at least 90% done before I even think about putting any serious money into this car.
