I'll soon need to build a new building just for my diecasts and model kits. I only collect Fords. Have about 500 Mustangs, 50 (or more) Mavericks/Comets, 150 Cobras, Cougars, GT40's, T-Birds, Fairlanes...and a few others. I started out about 30 years ago collecting and have really gotten carried away the last 10 years. Unfortunately most of them are boxed up right now because I have so many. Hopefully one day I'll be able to build me a huge display room and start showing a lot of them.

you sound like me, but 30 yrs ahead. when you get everything out and show them off id like to see them. im the same way with my diecast and kits, only Fords but when it comes to my hotwheels and such ill buy anything that is 'nice' (old school, classics, muscle, etc) i prolly have 200 hot wheels, 30 models assembled, about 75 fresh cherries and 6-8 1:24 mavericks/comets. i to plan to display these is my computer/wreck room when i have my new house built

I tried that in the computer room of my previous house. Bout ran myself out. It wasn't a very big room though. I have a 10X12 room in my new house set aside just for my cars...nothing else. I really don't think I'm going to be able to get them all out. I have 5 large framed Carroll Shelby SAAC autographed posters I want to display also so I'll lose some wall space. :hmmm: Got a lot of figurin to do.
