Washington State Colby Cruise

How does the cruising routine work....do we form a massive caravan and putt down Colby ave?

 

I might be able to come down for that. It might be a nice getaway week-end. I will check with the wife later and get back to you. It would be kinda cool if a Canadian contingent could cross the line and make the trip.

 

Hey hey..I'm driving down from the Island...so we could make the trip together. There may still be others from Canada who will come also!(waiting for replys)

 

everybody shows up a little early and we all are guided into a space were we sit for a while (people walk around and check out the cars) then when its ready they direct you out onto the streets and cruise around the people that are lining the streets. for me i will only be there on sunday for the cruise, monday if you want they have a show n' shine. i can't wait!!!

I see that the Mon. is a Memorial Day Holiday for our U.S. friends, so I would have to check to see if I would be able to miss a day of work. I am on salary with work, and I am taking two weeks at the end of june for holidays, so I would have to see if I could stick around for that and still have them pay me. The other thing that I was thinking was that I would come down on Fri. Night or Sat. morning and try and stay somewhere. Grabber71 when were you thinking of going down. Which day and what time etc? I would definitely like to go down with you. I am flexible. When were you thinking of coming back?

I am planning to leave the Island Sat Morn(we could meet before the border someplace) and will be staying with Coop & Kathy(mercurycruisers) in Pacific for the night. Will be stopping in Bellingham for lunch first though...at the County Buffet at Bellis Fair! Can't wait..will be a fun weekend! I have a few other people interested...3 more so far...and its still early! We may end up with 10 or more cars! Send in your registration ASAP!

 

this is gonna be sweet!!!! by the way we should figure out an area that we all could meet just before we drive into the parking lot of cars that way we could have all the mavs and comets lined as we wait for the cruise to start. it would look awesome!!!

 

we should all meet and grab breakfast before we head to the cruise! Any ideas?
