    yeah i see it now, first time i looked i thought it was a mav, but i see alot of none maverick parts

    maybe someone is trying to run propane on their car?

    I don't think this car is set up for propane at all.
    I think the owner just came across the air cleaner and used it.
    Maybe he thought it was neat.
    No accounting for taste.

    What Paul is saying, you will see these on many commercial engines that run gasoline or propane. Good example is a fork lift. The propane doesn't run through this, all fresh air other than PCV.

    As far as the looks on this car,, ugly. But the adapter is nice to know about and may come in handy on certain projects.

    Also its just great the way it positions the air filter right above the nice HOT air rising up from the headers.:disagree:

    It's a car.
    The air cleaner is NOT stock.
    IF it ever was stock on anything, I would suspect a boat engine.

    It is an Australian Falcon.
    I flipped the pic to mirror image so that the car wouldn't be the focus of the discussion, just the air cleaner.
