Got a few. I've got the 65 Falcon, 70 Mustang Grabber Fastback, 26 Model TT and 27 Model TT both steel cabs, and 23 Model T running gears to build a speedster. I also just bought a pair of trucks last week 36 Ford and 39 Ford pick ups. Couldn't pass them up for $1000.00. :) - Matt

    LBF,

That is surely a unique collection. Any reason for the interest in funeral home stuff?

    Coach Built

I just like rare old cars. My '75 Flower Car is one of 25 built, my '67 Pontiac Hearse is one of 27 built, and my '66 Ford is a 7,500 mile original Industrial Ambulance, and probably the only one in existance. My '70 Pontiac Ambulance is one of 12 (IIRC) ever built. I have a lot of pics at http://www.picturetrail.com/lbftaylor
Not all of the cars are mine, of course.

Interesting in deed. I'll try to get a picture from my cousin of the hearse that the local funeral home back in WV had for the longest time. They bought a factory 64 Ford Custom with 427 2x4 4spd and had it converted to a hearse. The car was eventually traded in down south somewhere for a newer Caddy hearse. Wish I had that one. - Matt

    I have a car friend that has a 1970 S&S Cadillac Ambulance.

There is a group?, ....gang?, ....pack?, ....coven? of funeral guys and gouls that sometimes frequent the local car shows. They are a fun group, come in costumes and play macabre music. One guy has a go-cart that looks like a coffin that he cruises around with. They roll in with 4-5 hearses. Their slogan is "Don't let your first ride be your last"

i have a few classics , a 1964 pontiac lemans (parts car) and a 1964 tri-power ,4-spd GTO its a post car.(sedan) it hasnt had plates on it though scince 1973. i consider it my retirement project ,its a very early car and documented, its not in great shape but is also very restorable, just dont have the space to work on it the right way so waiting till i get the room to do it right. i also have a 1987 mustang lx coupe that was going to be my next drag car but am thinking now of another maverick, and a 2007 mustang GT. though not classics, just sold my 71gmc pick up now driving a 2001 silverado Z-71 4X4 daily. And of course the 71 maverick!
