Found two of those at the Wal-Mart in Bartlett, TN tonight. First I've ever seen them. The Wal-Mart closer to me doesn't have anything like that. Also went to a book store called Hastings and found the Johnny Lightning green "Coca-Cola" one. I bought that. Seems to be a better quality. I don't like the Coke logo on it, but I do have some touch-up paint that's the same color as my car... Hm...

:DYeah it's a pretty good find indeed. The Mavericks are all red which i think is a different colour than what's in the states and the 1:87 scale Mavericks are red and yellow. The engines in the dioramas are all 250 straight 6's except one which is stuffed with a 460 and a row of 4 barrel carbs, oh yeah baby!:clap:(y):yahoo::D

I cleaned out a local Walmart as well. I have one extra Maverick, yellow, American Graffiti and one extra Pinto, pale green, also American Graffiti. Your choice, $10 plus shipping.

I went to a new Walmart yesterday and found 2 Mavs, 3 Pintos, 1 Chrysler Wagon and 1 Mustang II, it is red. I bought the Mustang since I did not have that one yet.

found a new style diorama with a green grabber car (same color as my car) and a different style Garage as well (different bench, tools, jack stands etc.) I'll post photo when I get a chance. Found one at Wally World. Just noticed under the AG front cardboard flap(after all who actually opens these things) It says "Mechanics Shop" instead of " My Garage" like the Yellow one is so that explains the new scenery.

I've looked at a few Wally Worlds and haven't found any new Mavericks in the garage scenes. Guess I'll have to check again.:)

I just posted a scan of my AG mentioned above. NOt a great scan but then again its hard to scan a three dimensional object! Its in the memorabilia section.

This thread came up in a search I did.

I bought the yellow die-cast a long time ago (I don't remember when). I guess I liked it so much I bought a car to match it .

I wonder if MaverickMan will build a carbonfiber hood so I can make the die-cast match the car :thumbs2:.
