I want to get some 14x8 Cragers to fit my 245 60r14 tires. Which one of these wheels will work for me?

    Normal:

    Rim Size: 14x8
    Bolt Pattern:5x4.5,4.75,5
    Offset MM: -6
    Rear Spac.: 4 1/4

    Or the Reversed offset:

    Rim Size: 14x8
    Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5,4.75,5
    Offset MM: -38
    Rear Spac.: 3

I don't think 3" backspacing will work very well with an 8" rim. The tire will likely hit the wheelwell lip.

Or I can get a 14x7 inch wheel.

So basically I just need a wheel thats 14x7 or 8 that will fit my tires without problems. I just need to know the offset and backspacing for it to work.

3.5" to 4" backspace works best with 7" rims.
Some members have reported 4.5" fitting, while others used 4.25" and said it was too tight. Probably slight variances in wheel maker's points of measure, or could also be different materials... As aluminum would have a fatter lip than steel, and they may not be outside measures. Also, factory clearances can vary as much as 3/8".
Might be all of the above.

You can be safe with 3.5" to 4".
If you go with an 8" rim, you need to keep it tight as possible.
4" at least, but could attempt the 4.25"-4.5".

Any less backspaces will put the tire out near or past the fender lip.
It's just my opinion, but even if the tire doesn't hit the fender, it's funny looking if the tires aren't tucked away. You tastes may vary.
