Texas Mini-Meet 2008

Duane I live by Joe Pool lake but I store my car in Mansfield off Highway 917 leading to Lillian and it crosses 35 1 exit North of the Highway 67 exit if you want to meet me in Mansfield we can work that out

I guess I could bring a Grabber spoiler, NOS Deluxe gas caps, maybe some other stuff. Does anyone have a nice black rear seat for a 71?

 

This sucks. I just found out about this. I would love to make it but my son has his very first soccer game. I can not miss this. The game is from 10-11. What are the plans for afterwards? The show is till 2 pm. Any plans after 2? IF so I may look at being hooked up to it and just hauling it down or having my dad take it down. Frank, I will call you tomorrow. I need a recommendation on a local trans shop.

 

trmaggie98, you ever make it to the car show off I20 and little road? A buddy of mine said he went and ran into a few maverick guys,said one had a really clean stocker and another had a cowl hood.

I make it there about every other week. That is really the only show I go to. I make it Charlies every now and then on Sunday. I try to stay close to home. 4:11's are not too much fun on the highway.

 

trmaggie98 I looked for you Friday but I never saw you by your car I was going to ask if you were coming down to the meet. I was there in my Falcon last Friday. I know a good trans shop in Kennedale. Duane just call me and let me know where you want to meet. ( 817) 480-2365

I think we will make it, but won't be able to bring the car.

My parents are living with us after the hurricane, but will be out of town that weekend leaving us with 4 dogs, so we will have to make it a day trip so we can be back and let the dogs out.

Most likely just drive Anna's mustang up and drive back home that night.

Frank, when do you want to leave? Where would be good to meet? I'll have to leave the show early, my daughter races the Maverick at Texas Raceway, and I race the Mustang, so I need to be back by 2:00

 

There is a car show every friday I believe, in the parking lot next to whataburger

 

The show is next to the Whatburger every Friday night.

 

I'll have to make it down there some time next month. Sounds like a fun location to spend a Friday evening.

Depending on which way we head out, I'm at 287 and Sublett (McDonalds would be good) or I can head your way, doesn't really matter too much...What time? Anyone else close to us?

 

I'm coming down 35W from Roanoke. The plan was to meet up with others in Hillsboro to caravan down but a time has yet to be determined. What time are you guys meeting?
