I actually have a 1974 model kit I may consider selling. It's never even been opened. I'm sure some of the collectors here may have one but it's the only one I have ever seen like this. Let me know if you are interested before I decide to stick it on eBay.

Is it one of those ones with the black Maverick with the orange top? If it is, it's much better to not open, because your not missing much :D

Yes Dave...it's a 74 Grabber kit, made by Palmer.
Thanks for busting my bubble. Just for that, I'm gonna open it and build it to look just like YOUR car!!! Now I gotta find me a 73 front bumper. Got a grabber hood already....rust free!!! :)

You could build it like my white/orange 74 Grabber, the would be easier :D

    1974 Maverick Grabber
That Palmer '74 Maverick Grabber kit is realy a '71 or '72 Grabber just like there older Maverick kits. I guess when you are a kid you cannot tell the difference or it dosen't matter. I have two of them, one I built the other is unopened. I put in the back seat of my car at car shows along with some other memorbilia form 1974. I do give Palmer credit for trying! There was no other 1974 Maverick model in the day. I have been building and collecting model cars since 1966.
