Do they exist? I contend our cars are but a sliver of the cool car spectrum. I recently posted a 1960 Chrysler Saratoga which is, in my opinion, one of the best looking cars to ever come out of Detroit.
Heres another I think is easily in the top 10.
    1957 Chrysler 300.

I like most American muscle. But if I wasn't driving a Maverick or some other more traditional musclecar, I would be in a Datsun 240Z, with or without the original inline six. All the style and sex appeal of a European import with none of the douchebaggery. All the reliability of a Japanese import with none of the sh!tbox lameness. All the handling and performance of a world-class sportscar with virtually none of the expense.

The Z-car is to sportscars what the Maverick is to musclecars, and that's why it is awesome.

A sleek aerodynamic car ahead of it's time. For that matter, most all the Studebakers were styled ahead of their time.

No doubt I would probably have a VW Beetle right now if I didn't get into Mavericks. I love the old split window bugs.

And I love the early 80's fox body cars. I have an '80 Capri RS that would be similar to the one below if it were restored, except mine is red with red interior and blue stripes on the outside.

There are a lot of cars out there that to me are awesome, but my all time favorite is the 1969 Mustang Mach 1. The one I had was a dead ringer for the one in the picture below. Next to my Maverick, my Mach 1 was the most fun car I have ever driven.

As far as Mustangs go, the '65-'66 fastback is my all time favorite. To me, that is the absolute best looking body style ever built of ANY car, period.

If I were to ever get a Chevy, it would be something like the one pictured below that someone else originally posted on here a while back. And of course, it would have a 460 or something like that under the hood. :D
