hey guys, just wondering if this combo will work

15x7 rims all around with 4inch backspace

235-60-15 for fronts and 255-60-15s for back

if curious, rims are uys wheels black modular wheels
tires are a new set of futura ss that i sold for cheap to my buddy that never used them...and i'm thinking about buying them back lol

if you dont think they'll fit i guess i'll go with 215 fronts and 245 rears..

    thanks in advance

Those are some very wide tires for the front, but then again I am old school and like skinnies up front. Those sizes are also going to be quite a bit taller than the stock 185/75R14s where.

yea i know, i currently have 195-70-14s up front
i know the biggest i seen up front was a 245-60-15 with stock 15x7 magnums..guys said ds rubbed slightly on full lock...so same combo with 4.5 bs would fix that.

so .25' less backspace for my combo along with .40 skinnier tire for the front..sounds like it may work

I have 215/60-15 on the front. It is pretty tight, but you could go up a bit.

I can barely get my finger between the tire and front valence.

Thats what I have up front too. It fits ok, but my front cowling is cut back a bit and I think that allows a bit larger tire.

damn, thats pretty close, i take it the guys running 245s must have cut that bottom piece back a bit ways..never realized it curved that much inward towards the bottom

The guy that had my car before me had 18's on it with big ole fattys. That would be why the lower cowling on mine is cut way back. My fenders flex a lot more than they should due to it being cut, so try to keep from having to cut that cowling back.

I know that I have been looking into going at least up to a 16" rim just for the availability of tires. It used to be that 15's where where the tire availability was at but not anymore.

    would 225-45s on a 17x7 with 4'bs and 255-40-17 or perhaps a 275-40 work on a 17-8 with 4.5bs with no rubbing issues?
and perhaps globalwest 1in coil drop in front?

I to was also wondering if I could get 23560r15 on the front with 15X7 Magnum 500's. The 21560r15 seem to be somewhere in the range of 24.7 to 25.2 . the 23560r15 all seem to be 26.1 and the 24560r15 look like they are 26.6. So is there anyone out there running 23560r15 on the front of their Mavericks without any problems? I want to run the same size all around + a spare of the same size for those long distance trips.
