probably this weekend i'll test fit a 235-60-15 as my uncle has those on a multi-lug rallye wheel so i'll let you know
That would be Great! Hopefully they are on 15X7 wide wheels. I Really like the Goodyear Eagle GT II tires with the raised white letters. The smallest they make in this style is the 23560r15's . If these won't fit I'll have to consider a different brand. I like the white lettered tires over the blackwalls or white wall choices.
You know, a lot of the fitment is going to depend on the offset of the wheel. If you run an old school set of wheels, the offset tends to be outwards quite a bit, and new style which tend to be more set up for front wheel drives tends to be inset quite a bit. Another thing you have to watch on older cars is being too far inset to where they rub on the tie rods.
so yea, plenty of room, though it gets close at full lock, so for extra insurance we'll be putting on new shocks and springs..which should raise the front end up to atleast half an inch over the worn springs...and ride alot smoother compared to the 14s with bad shocks as for the last pic...235-60 in the rear plenty of room in the wheelwell.. and half an inch between the tire/spring. if you get less back space compared to the 4.25 say like a 4in bs of 3.75, you should have more room between there. but either way i'm sure it's not going to be a problem!
Thanks for doing that. It finally answered my question for that tire size. Now to look for some wheels. Englishtown and Carlisle are coming up and Im on vacation for both. I should be able to find some good deals on wheels there. Bob
