I know the bolt pattern is the same...what about the actual fitment on the car....offset backspace etc... I love the 17" Magnum 500 wheels that came on the New Edge Mach 1 series Mustang The Bullet wheels are sweet lookin too
I have 17" '05-'09 Mustang wheels on mine, and they require a 1.5" spacer. I think you can get by with a smaller spacer for the '94-'04 wheels. I wanna say 1" but I'm not sure.
running polished Bullitt wheels on mine, 17x9 with 1 " spacer in the front and 1.25" spacer in the rear
There's a guy on one of the Mustang forums that has a set of Mach 1 wheels and tires for $550 + shipping. Its a good deal, tires look new.
Spacers or adapters? I have it on good authority that the only spacers available are actually adapters. R they custom made?
same thing, just called different names. just make sure you have the desired thickness that you want, and that both bolt pattern are 5x4.5" (or 5x114mm metric pattern, some are also listed as 114.3mm) example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
I was eying those or the 10.5 wide Torq thrust Type Ms for the rear probaablly go with 10.5 wide since my rear end is custom.....
They have the Torq thrust type M with 4.5 BS 8 inch wide just to let you all know....no adapters/Spacers needed...
I have a set of 94-04 offset stock mustang 17x8 wheels I'm looking to put onto a `73 mav, it's a stock 4 wheel drum 302/c4 car with the stock rearend. Should I get 1" or 1.25" spacers? Looking to run the stock size 245/45R17 tires on the wheels. thanks
you can run a 1" all the way around, but i went with a 1" front and 1.25" rear so it would fill up the qt panel a little better...... and mine are a tad wider 17x9
