well to argue on the side of the nos guys you cant just spray all you want and hold together so it is saying something about your engine if you can spray it and stay together it is not just unlimited power. a 2.3 is only going to take like 125 -150 shot but a 460 might could do 300 plus shot that is saying something about the integrity of your engine and yourself i think

There is nothing wrong with spraying out of the hole to get everything moving so the boost can take it upstairs:)

You can use N2O or you can just just retard the timing a heck of a lot on a two step. there are several ways to get it to spool off the line.. going pig rich to get the exhaust hotter is one way, it is also why you hear the sputtering and popping while staging on the other big turbo cars :)

    Stinger is awesome!

I'm not new to the 2.3 scene. I have had my fun with the 2.3T's.. and if there is any luck I will have another shortly.

i loved my 88 tbird turbo coupe....

i used a few Esslinger turbo parts.....and a Turbonetics T3 hybrid.....It ran in the 13s not bad for a 4 cylinder car that weighed almost 4000lbs...

That is one car i wish I would have kept other than my maverick

If I ever score a good pinto for cheap that is what I am building for it a sweet 2.3l tirbo with a small shot of Nos

Man, one of ya needs to get in touch with Old Guy...he's got a neat little '86 XR4Ti (just like the turd I had)...no engine (2.3 turbo originally) but has a nice interior. Bet he'd let it go for a pretty good price. I loved mine. 38 mpg and easily handed the tail end to most stock Mustang GT's. Oh and it handled a LOT better than my Lightning does and was faster all over. Neat little cars. Kind of makes me wish I'd have kept the one I had. Someone wanted it worse than I did so I let it go.

Oh...and thanks for the correction, I was thinking Flanders but it is in fact Huber who I was thinking of.
