Ok... so let me grasp onto the concept... Turbo's and Superchargers..OK... but power in a bottle is cheating?
Not saying im in with that nitrous statement above but i know alot of older guys who do feel that way. They just dont like it i guess.
Some of the best fiction i've ever seen on screen...outside of YouTube of course Unplug and go read a book - you might learn something, spelling being in your top 3 of "I need to know"

Most of the "older guys" who remember when NOS first came on the scene (as do I) and being used was cheating at the track...THEN. The rules didn't allow it. The biggest complaint most of us had with it was that, back in the old days, the best and fastest way to grenade your engine was to use NOS. I still think NOS on a street car is not the best idea, but for the track,... Oh, heck yeah! With the vast improvements in technology of using NOS and the better materials used in engine parts, it is a very good way to get maximum horsepower on a budget and, in a lot of situations, a great way to get consistent horsepower. By the way, NHRA, IHRA, NMRA, ADRA, etc., etc., all allow NOS in certain classes and it is not cheating. To just flat out say that using NOS is cheating is a totally blatant, nonobjective, and unsubstaniated opinion and reflects badly on the intellectual level of the one statng the opinion.
people who claim nitrous is cheating are just poor loosers. the only time its cheating is when the governing rules of the event doenst allow them. the only thing that maters in racing who wins (as long as no rules were broken).
Why not just use a turbo or a supercharger instead of spraying? I admit my statement was a lil off...I just reread it and wow, what was I thinking...lmao But yeah I dont have a problem with NOS as long as the other guy has NOS/turbo/supercharger...I think my rant was based on the assumption that the other guy doesnt have anything but pure motor.
