For me its corvettes. Now I am a big corvette fan, but they are not worth that much. Example. A 74 corvette with a standard 350 can go for $18,000+
Now maybe for a 454 in that thing. Very common car really, and not worth that much to me to tell you the truth.
And then you get say a 67 corvette going for $40,000+ with the small block. Don't get me wrong, some cars can reach that, but it seems all are around that price. Now like I said earlier, if it had the big block then yes. I have seen some go for over $175,000. Crazyness!
And I do understand that these cars are desirable, but they are more common then people think.
So what do you guys think is overpriced?

Its just like oil prices.Speculators and investors drive the price up to what the market can bear.It has no bearing on what the car or oil is really worth.

Mopars. Very good cars, but very overrated and extremely overpriced.

Ah darn it, Terry. You beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing.
I really think any Mustang from the 1960's that has been restored using imported reproduction body parts is way overpriced. I have first hand experiance with those reproduction parts and they are total crap. If anything, putting shoddy made parts on those cars should devalue them.

Anything built in the last 10-15 years. No wonder the auto makers are going broke, not many people can afford a new car anymore. As far as older cars, it goes in cycles, right now anything with a Hemi is overpriced. Camaro's and Mustang's are too. Most Vettes are too, but there are some bargains out there on the early 80's models.
