    Ok so I know it's not a Maverick but I thought I would share some of my restoration work on my 67 Impala. I've been working on a frame off on it and 5 months ago it went to the painter. Below are some photos. Like I have said before, I bought the Mav to drive while it was in progress. But I like the Maverick so much I'm gonna keep it also.

    Can't wait to start putting it back together.
    Should have the motor done in a couple weeks. All the machine work is done.

    I have a friend with a 67 impala (did they make an SS??) His is 100% unrestored and original, very nice cars!!

    They did make an SS with a small block
    also with the big block 396.
    What I have is a Super hooded super sport with z24 option package it is a 427
    385HP it is the rarest. Only 2124 made. Here is a photo of one done.

    Yeah, that's the hood he has. So his must be an SS ?. It doesn't get out much.

    Worth big bucks. The hood alone is big bucks
