Ok so I know it's not a Maverick but I thought I would share some of my restoration work on my 67 Impala. I've been working on a frame off on it and 5 months ago it went to the painter. Below are some photos. Like I have said before, I bought the Mav to drive while it was in progress. But I like the Maverick so much I'm gonna keep it also. Ron
I hope so... Can't wait to start putting it back together. Should have the motor done in a couple weeks. All the machine work is done.
Looking good. Non-Maverick automotive related posts should be in the "Other Automotive Tech & Talk" section.
Thought I would share some more photos from today. And yes that's a shelby on the lift behind my car.
I have a friend with a 67 impala (did they make an SS??) His is 100% unrestored and original, very nice cars!!
They did make an SS with a small block also with the big block 396. What I have is a Super hooded super sport with z24 option package it is a 427 385HP it is the rarest. Only 2124 made. Here is a photo of one done. Ron
Un-molested, un-restored, original paint, interior, and drivetrain. I'll pop over and see him, and see if he'll let me snap a few pic's
