    Thosre are pretty cool. I'm not a fan of chrome valve covers but those I like.

    Also came on the 5.0 HO TBI in a '85 LTD LX.....I have one; the engine that is, with the AOD.

    Are they tall enough to clear 1.7 rockers?

    Yeah, those are a 'blast from the past'!
    Nice stuff. I haven't seen those covers for many years.
    A racing buddy back in the early 90s had those stock on his 85 GT HO 4v Stang.
    4v Stang GTs are the only place I have ever seen them, but it has been a very long time, and I have only seen a few sets still on the original car in my life... So they likely came on some other things too in the very short period Ford used them.

    Great find!
    Back in the day I would never have thought those would be 'rare', but considering they only used them for 2, maybe 3, years, and the fact you don't see them anymore, says something about their availablility.

    i'll let you know if i ever come across a set... the guy i got mine from said he had several sets. i paid $25 for those :)

    alright your 3rd person that wants a set...next time i go back up to his place i'll see how many he has left. he lives a good distance away, so i dont go up there too often :thumbs2:
