I need like a Chip Foose or something to draw up this ridiculous idea that's been brewing in my head the last few days. :hmmm: I don't think anyone has ever built up a Maverick like I'm visioning.

I'm thinking about building a ratrod Maverick, and I'm not talking about just painting a stock Maverick flat black and putting some red wheels on it. I'm talking about all out ratrod...

I've got my '74 Grabber body, either a 2001 Ranger, '69 F100, or '78 F150 frame depending on which would work and look best. I also have a very stout 460 I can get for cheap from my grandpa, that was running 10's in a '72 Ranchero back in the 80's (would probably need to detune that a little for street use :rofl2: ) I'm thinking about putting the Grabber body backwards on one of the truck frames, so that the rear half the frame where the bed was will become the front half that sticks out. No body panels forward of the cowl. Just the frame and engine up front. Put the body on a slight downward slope on the frame. Then a nice big block up front and a solid front axle. The usual round head light buckets and free standing radiator up front. No chrome anywhere on the body, all just straight up flat black. Put some Torque Thrust D's on it, I think it would be wicked. I'm going to mess around with this some tomorrow. :D
