On the 72' F-100 Originally paid $100 for 'em, shined them up, taped them off and sprayed on some black, and there's the finished product, what do ya think? And, does anyone think that this could be able to tow a Mav on a trailer, it's only an F-100, but the 360 gets it along, idk if it could tow my car though...
It will tow your mav with ease.even though its a F100 it is still a half ton truck. We used to pull my torino on a steel solid floor trailer dual axle trailer with my old 77 when it had a stock 351W with no problems
Thanks for the info and compliments guys, Theres a tailgate and a rollpan that will be on there soon, I need a trailer yet. I bet a racer's wedge would be alot cooler but as a SM car the trailer idea kinda is more correct.
Lol i want a trailer hitch on my maverick to i wander if it will even be able to pull anything though
I usually dont like them wheels but they look really good on that truck, guess I will have to give you kudos
I pulled a Maverick with my Maverick once. My buddy was driving my '76 parts car daily for a while back in 2007, and when it finally gave up the ghost, I went over there with a tow strap, wrapped one end around the strut rod cross member on the '76, and the other end around the rear axle on my '72 beater, and drug it almost 4 miles across town. My buddy drove the '76 and I drove the '72. We did it at like 4 A.M. when there was no other cars out.
Nice looking truck, and the wheels go pretty well with it. Mr T. had something similar on his van if I remember correctly!
