'50 Ford rearend?

Yea, it was pretty decent. Economics dictated it's fate more then anything.

 

ost 4drs seem to be worth more in parts than as a whole car

Sorry but I needed the parts.... Bought the car, sold enough to get my money back and ended up with perfect dash pad, complete disk brake set up, a/c setup, and more for my car then gave Jamie the rest of the car for free (sorry that was for another thread) which still has alot of parts left on it, perfect floor pans, perfect quarters and more. So worked out well for both of us.

 

I don't blame you a bit. You got what you need and came out great on the deal, I'm getting what I need off of it, and what's left is going to another member next week so he can use the trunk pan and lower quarters to fix up his '72 Grabber! Some have to die so others can live on.. at least 5 cars are benefiting greatly from the destruction of this one car, so I certainly don't think it went to waste.

 

Just interested if you ever got a sure answer as to if this was stock to the 50 Ford or what it actually is.

 

No idea. I've got a couple of other boards in mind where I'm sure someone will know what it is. Just haven't gotten around to posting it yet.
