    Hey all
This is not a ford product but mav peeps seem to have a love affair with the l6 powerplant so i thought I would share this gem.

Its a 60 over 292 truck motor that has been milled and decked for best quench and 9.1 compression. A 212 dur at 50deg hyd cam, ported and polished head with chevy small block 192 valves, offy 1x4 intake, demon carb, and a custom lake pipe fabbed by yours trully. Th-350 thans with a crisp shift kit and 2400 rpm stall. I built this engine for a friend that is building a 26 ford lakes modified and wanted something different than the sea of small block v-8s at the cruise. He projects vehicle weight to be 1800-2000 pounds so this engine should really rip and never have to wind out to high. I had a blast building it and just thought I would share/Brag a bit :)

That will be so much more interesting than another small block chevy in that 26. But I would be even more impressed if your Rowdy I-6 was a Ford 300in truck motor, and it was going in your Maverick:D. But that's a nice looking engine, sounds real good too.. Don't forget to post a video when its in the car running!

    dandy idea

I really like the big sixes. I have big hopes of doing a 300 ford on n2o ford in my mav in place of my current 250.Just need to do a bit more research to be sure it will all work how I want.Oh yes and talk my self into paying twice as much for half the power. seems to be the way it is with the sixes =) Im painting the mav right now so the engine swap will likely get done in next winters down time.

Never sound as good as an eight either, but it would be eye poppin', jaw dropping, head spinnin' cool to see one in there instead of an eight. With a big ole turbo too. never mind the no2. That would be the cats meow.
