I know, this question has been talked about before, and I searched through the archives. But I can't seem to find a definate answer so here it goes again.

How many of you guys with the stock 4 1/2" wide factory 4 lug wheels are running a P205/70/R14 tire?

Any problems at all with tire fit or tire wear? I know it goes in the wheel wells fine - I'm just concerned about the proper fit onto the wheel.

    Thanks! :)

a 70 is probly going to be on the edge of being too wide, have you considered a 195/75 ?
or even a 185/75 with that narrow of a wheel tire choices become pretty limited to look right and wear right

    70 series height/width = 25.30/8.07

    195/75 =25.52/7.68

    185/75=24.93/7.28

Thanks Joe. The P195/75/R14 is the other size that is available in 14", for the tire I want. So it is available to me.

Just wanted to get the widest tire I safely could to get away from the pizza cutter look. :)

I understand that,Im running a 75 on my stock 6" wheels there a decent fit for the width, I do believe they will give look you seek without being super wide for the 4.5 wheels they may still have a slight tendency to wear the center of the tire though

Is that what's in your picture? 195/75?
