http://desmoines.craigslist.org/pts/1567120823.html If they would work I would definately like to know...I want to give the guy a call and purchase them today...without any actual info it would obviously go without question that no one could guarantee a fit, but just by pics, what do you think? http://desmoines.craigslist.org/pts/1558474465.html
sometimes if it's close enough just drive down and ask if you can try one on your car. but i'm pretty sure chevy has a different bolt pattern
keep on lookin! one of these days you'll go on Craigslist and there will be the perfect set of wheels lol!
Those look like they have slotted lug holes, if they do, they might fit both a Ford or a Chevy. Best bet would be to try them and see.
They`ll fit. they`re called unilug. You`ll need special lug nuts and washers for them. The lug nuts and washers for the Chevy WON`T work.
alright I contacted the guy on the top set and I'm gonna go check them friday to see if they are 4.5 or not.... Where might I find some of these special lug nuts and washers you speak of? Worst case scenario I spend $75 bucks on something I cant use on my maverick...Maybe I'll throw them on my 95 camaro later but doubt they would look right.
Sorry I did`nt get back to you sooner. Advance Auto Parts should have them, also any rim, tire shop local to you should also have them. The washers are an oval shape on the outside, and they have an offset hole for the lug nut. You flip it one way for ford 4.5" and the other for 5.75" Chevy. The lugs have a ¾" shoulder that goes in the wheel and may have to be ground off slightly,if it`s too long. Put your washer on the wheel, then your lug nut and holding them in place, look at the back of the wheel. The lug nut MUST NOT come out past the mounting face of the wheel. Grind the shoulder of the lug nut off until it sets back in the wheel about 1/16". They may be fine as is,but I`ve had some that did protrude out.
if im not mistaken unilug wheels will have a recess around the hole for the oblong washer to set into and those wheels dont look like they have the recess.
You are right,I noticed that too. I don`t know if the wheels are wallowed out or actually made that way. The pictures were`nt too clear. Ipolson07 will know when he sees them. They look similar to some wheels that were an option on Ford Ranger trucks.
Meh, the guy never got back to me so I dont think this is goign anywhere. Thanks for the help though guys
