I got $1500 i would spend on it.. I have seen quite a few for that price.. 2 Post lift. My question is who has one that they have outside and hows it been holding up in the weather? Any tips on a good place to get one.
jacks not good enough for ya? thats a lot of money to sink into a lift that will be outside. How bout a sissor lift?
There's a muffler shop here that has their lifts outside, they've been there for over 10 years...never been replaced.
Well i got $1500 right now and i feel like it would pay for itself in no time.. Scissor lifts dont really seem practical
listen young one, anything you want to do to your cars can be done on the ground spend it on that bad little truck, or the stallion
Im lazy and we got 3 lifts in automotive class and a lift where i work. You wouldnt see either place not use them they are great. It would be nice to look under neath vehicles and undercoat them and even weld quarter panels or floor pans at eye level instead of on your back.
A lift is nice to have. If outside is the only place u have to install it; I wud rather have it there than not have one at all. In a previous post in this thread mentioned one being outside for 10 year and never replaced. If you can get one for $1500 or so and it last 10 years or so -- that's appx $150.00 a year -- a bargain by my standards. I wud go for it. JMO
I found some pics of the shop that im talking about... http://www.classictrucks.com/tech/0507cl_great_sounding_mufflers/index.html they're just down the street as you can see the lifts are outside.
i can get 3 square yards for $143 that pours 8 foot by 10 foot that's 4 inches thick and that price includes the 2 hour rental for the machine that mixes and pours it i would love to have a lift
Once i get a little bit more money in i will buy one. Until then we will determine the best place for the lift.
