its either a merc or a ford. i've found the mercury Sun valley is very simlar and the ford victoria is too. but the tailights just dont match the pictures of other cars. I'm planning on fully digging it out wednesday and will post plenty more pictures. This is a once in a lifetime oppertunity for me. I remember dreaming of digging old cars out of the woods on soooooo many occasions! I'm livin out childhood dreams in this project!

heres where i found it. (yes, its in there) :D

The trim on those cars can be worth some good money.

Agreed. Trim is stupid expensive on those oldies. Our body man did a 55 Crown Vic last year. The trim pieces were insanely priced to refinish. 2 small pieces at the rear lights were missing and cost him 300 each . They just arent out there to buy. Even if the trim is beat up its still big money, they can fix it. Cant wait to see whats inside the car. Its like a treasure chest.:thumbs2:

I was going to say . . . if you find a briefcase with "JH" on it, don't bother opening it. I'll give you $50 for it.

i also found some old carberater. its either called an updraft or downdraft. i can't remember.

scrap prices are unbelievable right now. a big bumper maverick that im trying to buy is estimated to sell for $400-500 from the tow lot.
