    I can't figure out what this car is! the tailights look totally different then ANY of the cars that look like it! :hmmm:

    It's a '53 Mercury Monterey, positive. Not a '54, taillights are different. Not a '52, roof trim is different.

    heres my dad, couldn't have finished this without him for sure! :yup:

    was driven off the car lot in 1964 straight to his house. got home, pulled the flathead out and stuck it in a 35 ford. took the montery and filled it with so called 'junk' back in the day and pushed it down the hill. it was a V8, stickshift car with orange interior. anybody know what anything on this car is worth? i'm thinking the back window must be worth something! and the chrome is all very nice. i just have no idea what its worth. or the stickshift pedals!

    If the frame is solid, I know what I'd do with it! But I'm also the same nut job that's contemplated getting this car out of the woods. :biglaugh:

    I bet for about $150 grand you can make that baby look like brand new again!!! It's a KEEPER!!! :D
