should just be the "out" of the head to the "in" of the amp. 'out' of the amp to the speakers. got a pic of connectors? i tried google searching but couldn't find a pic.

what I did is I ran a power wire from battery to the amp, an activation wire from the headunit to the amp and then wires from the amp to the speakers you have. Then you need an RCA that will go from the head unit to the Amp. I think you meant to say DEH-1100MP

is the activation wire from head to amp the power source? because i bought an amp wire kit that has a massive red cable that i thought was the power for the amp.

the activation wire should be hooked up to your head unit. so when its on it activates the amp to turn on also. It should be a blue wire, the power source is the thicker wire next to it.

look at the first diagram. notice the blue/white? splice it up to that one. At least that's what i did...

Your speaker wires go from your amp to your speakers

the "big red" power wire goes to the 12v positive side of the amp
the ground wire goes from the amp to the chassis
on your radio there is going to be a remote wire, that goes to the amp remote in.
from radio RCA cable go to the amp

So basically, the power and ground wires are so the amp has power, the remote wire is the deck telling the amp to turn on, the rca cables are what carry the signals from the deck to the amp to amplify, then it outputs it through the positive and negative wires that goes to your speaker, your speakers make the bump bump wooky wooky noise. LOL

You got my number shoot me a call if you get lost.

whats your ratings on your amp?
Whats the ratings on your speakers?

Just making sure you don't have a amp setup for a sub, and walmart speakers. If so the go pop pretty quick and better off just running them off the deck power.

the amp reads as follows- 100w rms x 2 at 4ohms
    600w max.
    bridged at 4ohms
    class-AB
    MOS-FET

    the speaker are cheappie's
    XSITE
    XSS692
    6 X 9
    4OHM, 180 WATTSMAX POWER HANDLING
    FREQUENCY;50-180K HZ
    EFFICIENCY;91DB
I BOUGHT SPEAKERS BECAUSE THE CONE MATCHED MY PAINT ON CAR, THE DECKWAS GIVEN TO ME BRAN NEW, AND I PICK UP THE AMP ON CLEARANCE AT WALLY WORLD.

Whats the RMS rating on the speakers at 4 ohms?

Honestly, I would probably just run them off the deck, and if your into loud music pick up a small sub and use with the amp.

I have a feeling the deck output will be more than enough for the speakers alone. Crossovers matched to the speaker a better investment than throwing more power at them.

And for future reference, you can use a light coat of model paint and paint the cones of any speakers. Performance and looks :)
