With me in oklahoma and my brother in ohio its kind of hard to diagnose his car. Im hoping someone can help.

2002 deville. Ran great. Two days ago he drove it a mile and it quit. Went throught the usual cable check. Popped the injectors to check flow. Pulled plugs to check spark.fuel pump is nine months old now. Said its putting out a good amount of fuel. All plugs sparking. About ten minutes ago he tried it. Car ran long enough to warm up to 122 and then quit.

    Ideas?

Tried onboard diagnostics. Pulled no codes. That's the part that got me scratching my head.

Wierd there are no codes. My wife's 2000 Deville had a similar problem but it stored a code for a crank position sensor. Found a Tech Service Bulletin that said to replace them if they were dated before a certain date. I replaced both and problem was fixed. Don't know if 2002 had the same problem. Suggest you check for TSBs on the 2002s. I got mine with a subscription to ALLDATADIY.com. Well worth the price if you work on the car.

BTW, repair instructions say when you replace those sensors you should get a dealer to run a program to dial in the new sensors. Found online posts that said it wasn't necessary. Since they wanted about $100 to do that trick I skipped it and had no problems.
