Like I don't have enough projects to do this winter. A couple weeks ago I bought one of those Japanese Bandai remote control Mavericks on ebay. Price was right, but it was played with hard. Many dents, looked like it was stepped on at some point, suspension and steering were all messed up. But I thought, what the heck, may as well give it the Earl Schibe treatment ........... ;)

Took it all apart to see what it all needed. Lubed the motor up and straigtened out the steering and bent axles. Needed to do a little shimming to the suspension and solder a loose wire. Had fun chasing the dog around with it until my wife politely told me, ENOUGH ALREADY ......... :biglaugh:

Once the chassis was ready to go I started on the body work. Worked out the dents as best I could and straigtened out the twist in it from being stepped on. Gave it a coat of paint to match my 70 Grabber colors. Put it back together this afternoon.

Saved another from the crusher! :thumbs2:
