Wheels Hey mabe we can get together some day at a car show can you let me now about some shows in Ga. I have been to some over there i live in anderson Sc.
Sure, that would be cool. ck out this website for Maverick specific events and I try to make Fun Ford Weekend every year. There's also a few other guys from Georgia on this forum that I have seen as well, even though I don't think I have met any of them personally yet. http://www.dixiemaverick.com/
Cooper Cobra's here too. But I think you'll find that 275/50's are a better fit than 265's. I tried 265's on mine, but after seeing em on the car, went to 295's. 295's take a little extra work to fit, 275/50's should go right on The 265's went onto my custom built aluminum utility trailer, perfect fit there.
What kind of "work" are we talking? I was planning on rolling the rear lip anyway but I was looking today and it looks like a few things might be an issue.
I rolled the lips and stiffened the springs, but my wheels have a 5" backspace too and my rear has a slightly different dimension as to width (but I cannot recall the exact specs, bought the housing already narrowed off ebay) I have pics on my photobucket site, page 5.
