bought a firebird

    a friend of mine wanted it gone so i brought it home. not sure what to do with it but it does run and drive. i gave $250 for it

    OMG I Fing love that car. That is an awesome style and model. The steering is really tight and the suspension is great on Fbodies those years. Fantastic drivers I've owned three Trans Ams, two Camaros and two Firebirds. Love it. Id give $300 for it today.

    Gawd those are good looking to me. I have always wanted a blue one with a white bird or a white one with a red bird. Or a GOLD one! Heck yeah ! Gold is awesome with honeycombs or Cragars. Maybe Centerlines. Replace the shifter immediately with a B&M Starshifter and take the time to make it look good. Look how easy the gauges are to replace:

    it is an 80 esprit with a 305 sbc.runs fair and is mostly rust free but the interior is shot. my 16 year old daughter thinks she wants it instead of the ldo mav. not sure why :huh:

    these cars are really going up in value well worth in investment to fix
    but need to change motor to a bigger one

    Sacraledge! small block 400, 400 trans, 3.55 rears, front end alignment,freshen up the interior, then i can see your daughter wanting that. when the front end is tight, they ride and drive like a dream. i have had 4 of them, and to me they look best with sapphire blue paint and dark tinted glass, throw on a set of honey combs and you are set.
