So who got their green K-Mart cars today?

I went to the closest one around 10 am and there were 2 open cases on a table with no one around. I found 13 of the little green buggers. I took a 7 mile ride to the next K-Mart and also found a few open cases on a table but an older woman was all over them. She had a couple of lists and she was carefully filling her own cardboard box so I figured I would wait and get what I could get when she was gone. In the mean time, I found 2 of the blue Street Beasts hanging on the main racks. The lady finally leaves and I'm right on those boxes. I guess her list didn't include any of the green Mavericks as I pulled another 13 out of the boxes. I could have gone to 3 more K-Marts but finally realized that I had more than I will ever do anything with so I went home. I'm usually not this lucky with these Hot Wheels Mavericks

 

Let me know if you'll part with a green one, and how much. I don't think these will make it up here.

 

They were all over ebay last night before the 12th, one seller had singles doubles and ten packs of them

 

I got a gold Grabber and a green and blue Street Beast at Kmart today....

 

Just bought 4 on ebay for $8.39 shipped. Since Kmart is 16 miles away from me, I saved money not going. Would have like to have gone through the boxes though, just couldn't make it today.

I just got off the phone, talking about it....

 

Turnout at the store that I went to was lighter than before ... 9 people for 10 cases.

We got handed a case this time ... new guy running it now ... we used to be able to pick from the remaining cases, when your draw number came up.They were allowing 6 cars to be picked from a case before you needed to step back. Then, after everyone had a turn, it was open season.

Nobody there younger than 40, so it was very well-mannered. Might have to bring my 6 year old grandson soon, and shake it all up.

I got a Treasure Hunt Grand Sport Corvette, a pile of the Green Mavs, all the special color cars, and assorted others. Got a Duster Thruster and a couple of Back to the Future DeLoreans to give as birthday presents to folks they would be special to. Had to buy some for the grandson, too, so in all, I pushed it over 20 cars bought, and I will be sending off for the online special Custom Convoy.

Yeah ... I am cutting back on the HWs purchases ... someday ...

Something to look at with the Green Mavs is how well the tampo is pressed on there, especially the Maverick script on the fender ... a lot of them missing "Ma", and spotty stripes too. I rejected as many green ones as I took home.

It was the same for some of the other cars too, like the Duster. Very complicated graphics.

 

I picked up 3, there were 2 in my box and I grabbed 1 from my neigbors box! much to the screams of everybody standing bye, my bad...There was mentioned of a white grabber? Has anyone heard of this color?

 

These things sure do multiply...every car guy I know cruises the Hot Wheels, and they all buy the Mavericks for me. I got another going to coffee this morning.....

 

I get them from grand kids!

 

I guess the green ones will be the rarest one since they were only out for one day at KMart?

 

I got 6 of the KMart green ones today...on eBay. All from the same seller. Cost me $19.00 total but I figured I'd spend the rest on gas anyway. The closest KMart to me is 60 miles away.
Lots of green ones popping up on eBay right now. Don't figure they'll be out for long.

 

Got 4 of the green ones at my Kmart today...
