Spent a few hours on the database today. The first attempt dbase is setup, my info is in there as a test. The front page is a simple two button decision, with only the first one working. What took the longest was the html table and populated it from mySQL. Anyway, here is what it is so far: (just click the first button to see the database)

I need to know how the table shows up on everyone's screens. I am not a web developer, so this is my first hack at it. I am focusing on getting it working, and then I will make it look better. Oh, and the detailed info button is not implemented yet. It will either open a new window or a pop up with all the wheel and tire info, like backspacing, rim width, modifications etc.

The user will have the ability to sort by any of the fields, including all of the ones you do not see (detailed info), like backspacing, rim width, modifications etc.

Let me know what you think!

Looks good! Took a quick look at the HTML and it should work on all browsers with no problems.

I found a quick way to sort tables using javascript

A week of midterms is over and a nice spring break week is here! I tooled with the "detailed info" page some tonight. And I also implemented the Java script for column sorting. There is only one entry, so sorting is kinda boring, but I think it works!

I will be messing with the database during my break and will hopefully be finished by April. :bouncy:

Just finished up the page to insert records into the database. Also finished the detailed info webpage. You cannot submit your info yet, still in the construction phase.

Swing by, check it out, and let me know if there is anything I missed or ideas of your own:

One thing I already don't like is the Detailed Info page where you view specific details about someone's wheels and tires. It seems hard to read...

Well version 1 is up and running! Feel free to add your wheel and tire combo to the database. Keep in mind, I am still developing it, so there may be errors here and there. Please be patient and hopefully this turns into a powerful tool for everyone to use! (y)

Is there any chance of getting more people on there with pictures? I am fixing mine up right now and rims/tires is about the only thing that is gonna hold me up. how many other people out there have 16"+ rims? without mods of course. and can anyone tell me how wide I can go without doing anything to the fenders? I am moving the rear bumper to inside the frame instead of outward to give me another inch or so backspacing. any comments would help thanks

Yeah... I kinda lost interest in this one. The html got a little over my head. Maybe I could re-visit this project this fall...
