Didn't see a Maverick or Comet, its been like 2 years since i've seen one.
But i see a bunch on the road, so i guess that's a good thing.

Any who i did find a 68 Falcon! So I got a fancy reservoir cover and a light switch that i needed.

And you guys wont care about this , but who cares haha

I also found this little gem, a genuine JDM D15B Vtec. It's really rare to see one of these since they were only put into Japanese market cars. Not the US bound models. It's like the equvilent of finding an unmolested GT40 5.0L.

I read a post that you're doing the serpentine setup. Are you looking for JY parts?

I am doing the conversion! My friends older brother collects foxbodies and said he had two pulley sets that i could have. Hopefully i can get a good set out of that. I'm planning to have PS and AC also, so we'll see how that works out.

I remember years back when Ontario had a variety all the time. They got like a new maverick/comet every month! Now they barely even have any old cars.

Fords are getting rare these days, well the 5.0 based ones. Ontario is the only one who usually has any fox bodies. And they always have a bunch of Crown vics. This junkyard had literally only 3 5.0's....all truck ones.

The pick a part in san berdue is the same. They rarely have a any 302 cars. plenty of truck ones though!....The ecology in Rialto is basically just imports now. They used to have a nice Ford section, but its small now.

You all gotta come down to Wilmington, get a new Maverick every 3-4 weeks and plenty of 5.0 stangs. Cool finds!

I live not far from wilmington (huntington beach), which junkyard are you talking about? I've only checked the pick-a-part in Stanton so far, nothing there besides an old mustang that I couldn't get the seat frames off of.
