The Hot Wheels collectors site has a red Maverick grabber pictured as the next color to be released (probably in May as some others mention that month for release) Anyone who can copy the pic (they don't allow it of course) can post one of the three angle pictures they show. Red is a good choice I think.
Everybody send hotwheels an email with pics of proper Grabber stripes.Maybe we can get them back to normal.Just a thought.
There marketing people and every one else at Hot Wheels were more than likly not born when the the Maverick first came out. I'm just glad to see a Red Hot Wheels Maverick and Grabber the Lt Blue. Red should have been the first ones to come out, growing up Red, shades of red and orange 2 & 4 doors far out numbered the rest of the color choices. The buyer as always back then seemed to have cheap'od his way out of a Grabber package and those wild neat new Pinto and Maverick colors back then. It's about TIME the Red one is out.
Im not a fan of the "NEW DESIGN" either.. But if someone compains about it, they might just cancel the Maverick all together... Who knows... At least they would know, there is a market for the Maverick.. Chaz.
Just think, if they had featured the Maverick a little more in FastFive, wonder how many they could have sold Of course, that would have made the search for the ones we collect that much harder!
Charger sales must be huge then They made toys for all the previous movies, but I haven't seen any for the new one yet.
