I had to choose between the Dell Streak and Samsung Tab since those were the only 7" Tablets that were wifi only and had an onboard GPS chip.

I could not find a Dell Streak anywhere ... not even a demo. So I went with the SamSung Tab which was readily available.

The Dell has pluses and minuses. It is dual core processor so should support Android 3.0 where as the Tab is a single core. The Samsung has higher resolution screen for clearer display.

Hmmmm. Was thinking of getting one for my wife to use around the house. But, after seeing this, I might put it in her mustang instead.

She has the old 5-disk changer 1000 watt setup, but no ipod input or anything. This would give me a way to fix that.

Everything works while driving ... Does anyone actually install GPS HU's without bypassing the in-motion locks?

so did you leave all the factory stereo in there and just remove the buttons, and then bluetooth into the Sync system? Ive used my Sync system in my 2010 focus for music and phone calls. But when I use the Nav on my phone it wont send the sound to my ca rand the sound wont play from my phone, so I need to Un-Sync it when using Nav if I want to hear the directions.

lol... I'm sure they do... I'm just painting with a broad brush I didn't mean to say it's bad... Some people can't drive and talk on a phone, imagine how it will be when there watching a movie :) I think it's just cool as heck myself.....

Hmmm I'm wondering the same thing, I would be interested in doing this to my F150, or maybe my work van, they both have Sync.
