Does anyone know what's up with 15" BFG Radial T/As? I have two new 235/60/15s, need two more, and can't find any in stock anywhere. Could probably use from 215s to 255s but haven't found ANY. Everyone says "Backordered" so I don't trust any of the dates for availabilty. My car is stuck in the garage till tires (and wheels) are replaced.

May have to sell the two I have and go with some other tires.

15's & 14's are a dying breed. BF closed one of their factories up here that made them, they shipped the molds to parts unknown...Did you try Coker?

I know 14s are hard to find but there a still a lot of cars on the road that use 15s. Didn't expect supply of 15s to dry up yet.

I'll sell my BFGs and look at Coker if I can't find two Radial T/As.

Thanks for the info. That might explain the shortage.

Dittos to that. The days of 14" and 15" tires are numbered. "The End is Near!!!"

BFG has changed the part numbers on quite a few tires in that line. Also looks like a big hike in price. I and many friends searched for 255 for quite a while
    across the US and Canada.
While I was gone for the Gathering, I received a pair of the new part numbered 255's. I took a quick look at them and they appear the same. Will look closer when I am not beat from a long but fabulous trip.

We'll see what BFG has to say to my query about the status of these tires. Maybe I'll have to sell the new pair I have and go with a different brand. Given the shortage, there shouldn't be a problem selling my T/As.

Decided to go smaller on the front and ordered a pair of 205/60/15s. Would have preferred to match the 235s but did not want to get into an extended backorder delay with the car stuck in the garage.

Also ordered four chrome Cragar SS 15X7s. Should all be here this week. :dancing: Think I'll look for a 14" tire and keep the set of the original wheels, beauty rings and dog dishes as an optional original look.

I had the same issue a few months back trying to get front tires. 225/60r15s. Took me several weeks to find a couple.

The other sizes were easier to get, 205/60, etc. At least it was then. Been almost a year since I bought them.

My next door neighbor works for BF Goodrich in Tuscaloosa. I was asking him about what was going on just the other day. He told me that they were discontinuing some of there 14 and 15 inch tires because there wasn't much of a market for them. The only plant still making 14 and 15's is in Opelika, AL, and they have been doing a major renovation to their production lines. He said that when completed, some sizes of the TA's will be dropped because they aren't big sellers anymore. I bought my 255/60/15 and 215/60/15's from a place called Discount Tire Direct back in the spring. You might check with them, they also have a eBay store.

I asked BFG "What's up?" and got an answer. More on the way soon.
