I can't wait until these guys get their new digs up and running so I won't have to see crap like this. I have watched mid 30's cars and trucks as well as 40's and 50's cars that are savable or at least good donors land here. Today I went to get pellets for the grill and saw this on, a 66 or 67 Fairlane, possibly a 500 or GT judging by the trim. The drivers side is straight, it lookd to be solid and I bet before the forklift got to it the passengers side was straight too. The picture is not the best but here it is.

They don't care! They didn't pay anything for it except for the fuel to go pick it up! I see this a lot! I just wish I had the cash to buy these up!

It's a Fairlane, I could get closer and saw what it was but this was the best vantage point for a picture and with just a cell it turned out horribly.

Reason I said LTD is the wide C pillar...LTDs got the small convertible 1/4 windows that gave them a really wide C pillar. Fairlanes 1/4 glass follows the roofline more closely like the Galaxies. Either way, still sucks to see old iron getting scrapped. When they're gone...they're gone for good!

metal yard by my college. I have seen more 60-70's ford and chevy pickups then you can count on your hands being hauled off.

seen a couple beetles, a duster, a torino, and a old hudson as well

All of which were good projects or at least parts cars.

wheres all the chevy cavaliers, geo metros's, and vegas needing hauled off for scrap

LOL. My dads swears by the 80's/early 90's cavaliers. I wouldn't give you a nickel for any built in the 90's though:cool:

I see what you're saying, I could be wrong about it. I couldn't get close enough to read emblems but felt confident in my identification of the car but it looks like I may have been mistaken. Good eye!
