$400 for the white one and $500 for the green one. The white one ha some rust it the top of the cab and cab corners but nothing terrible. It has the nicest straightest bed on it that I have ever found on one of these trucks that hasn't been redone

Those Ford trucks are very common in the Southwest. They can often times be had for little more than scrap value. That price would be for trucks with missing engines, or engine/transmission problems. Most have 8 foot beds and or are 3/4 ton trucks.
Parts are very plentiful in the Southwest, the dollar yards seem to always have 6-10+ 1967-72 trucks.

Glad you saved some of those old trucks JHodges , I see too many being ran to the metal yard near campus here.
They look sharp fixed up or make a perfect workhorse truck.

It's always good to have a few old trucks lying around. Traded for this one the other day. It's a pos '68 f100(the primered truck), but it's got a good running 460 w/ cam, Edelbrock intake/Holley 750 and 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust:burnout:. C6 seems to be fine too. Gonna swap all this into my '75 F100 (the brown truck) and probably sell or trade the '68 rolling body-the bed sides are swiss cheese, rest isn't too bad. And it's got a clean title(y)

My favorite years are 53 to 56 then the 67 to 68 and last are the 73 to 79. I found this one last May. I wanted a 67 but found this 68 which is ok but it's just not a 67. I like them because they are a one year only as they are the transition year with the new body and the old components.
Paid a little over scrap value for it. 390 4sp 4x4

Cool to see the old Ford trucks !

I'll be in the market for a clean 72 F-250 this summer. Plan is to drop the drive line out of an F-350 7.3 diesel into it for a tow vehicle for my 72 Pinto.

My '68 actually has a '67 Grill (and a '70-72 bed-side marker lights at the end of the bump). '67 has one year doors & heater controls right? I'd like to have your '68 4x4 here, I like the older 4x4s better. For now my '85 will have to do. At least it was cheap.

I've had it a few years. Old 300 still runs, but has zero oil pressure. With work & all progress is almost non-existent. Hopefully this spring it'll get a new driveline so I can get it out & drive it.:)

Guess it's living up to it's F "100" name huh? My '75s like that, I can stand on the rear bumper & squat it a little.
