A car company that sends its profits to Japan shouldn't be allowed in our National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing races. Just my opinion as a fan of Detroit iron.

The decision to include Toyota was no doubt a business decision. The fans can make it a good business decision to exclude Toyota. But, the chances of that happening are slim to none. Maybe NASCAR will become WASCAR.

I disagree....The more factories involved, the better. Money is the engine of Nascar and all professional racing and these companies bring a lot...A lot of teams have closed up and layed off a lot of people because of lack of funds.......I wouldn't care if they let in BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc....These companies are in our market to stay...It's all global now....Buicks are beloved in China. You don't think profits come back to the USA?..All these other companies sell huge numbers of cars here...They all have design studios, manufacturing plants, and corporate headquarters here...They do employ a lot of people and also there's the trickle down... Parts vendors, advertising, art departments, transportation of cars and a lot of other stuff that's not thought of by most...A lot of "our" company's cars or parts of them are made in Canada or Mexico....I say let them all in if they want....Most other series do and are better off for it

personally i dont care what they let into nascar, theyre still all cookie cutter cars. the old "win on sunday, sale on monday" theory is dead. how many people are buying an impala because they saw one win a nascar race. to me, i think that trans am series looks pretty freakin awesome, and would push me towards buying a mustang if i saw it whip up on a camaro and challenger every week. but thats just my :2cents:

You'll probably get what you want. If you wanna see closed up and layed off visit Detroit. WASCAR, here we come.

These other manufacturers are what forced the big 3 to finally get off their lazy asses and build something that wouldn't fall apart the day after you bought it and style it into something you might want to be seen driving....There's some amazing stuff being built by the domestics today and you can thank the "foreigners"

And as far as Detroit goes.....Part of the blame falls squarely on the unions and the building of crap for many years...By the time the manufacturers figured it out, it was too late

I agree with the Detroit comment, don't get me started, people might not like what I say, as usual. :dancing:
