What model is the dumptruck? Is it a Ford truck or a Ford motor in a different branded truck like International?
...F-700 Ford dump truck with saddle tanks..someone had cut the wiring to the...intank pump... it's not mine, it belongs to an elderly gent down the street from me. he has been running all over town and had no luck. hope this helps...:Handshake
So this no longer has an intank pump and somebody added the pump on the rail? I only see one pump listed for a 92 7.0L and its an intank pump.
1989-1990 F-600 7.0L shows this electric pump, look familiar? Maybe they swapped out to the older style? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRT-P74187/?rtype=10
If thats not it then they used some kind of universal pump. Just going to have to find one that meets the requirements of the engine. Cant be much more help, im leaving work now.
My old 89 F250(460/7.5L) had a external pump mounted on the rail. It also had an internal pump. Does it look like these? Those are the ones NAPA sells for the F250(external). http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/C...01989+50028+2028028+25004&Ar=AND(P_RecType:A) Fuel Pump Gallons Per Hour : 33.02 Fuel Pump Pressure Rating : 44 PSI http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/C...01989+50028+2028028+25004&Ar=AND(P_RecType:A) This one requires an internal pump, I think the first one might not.
