usually if you go to a 99 cents store they have the old years stock, so that wold be a great place to find one.

 

im not one the hunt but when i see one i end up buying one and thats where i found my last one at was the dollar store lol and i found the first one and freds which is a dollar store

Finding a TH in the wild is what makes it fun. I have nine dating back to the first year, hanging on my walls .... OK .... a couple were from Kmart Collectors Day, so that is more like fishing out of a barrel, but there still is some luck involved.

I am convinced that I WILL find one on the pegs, because my job puts me in these stores already, and I am pretty good at sniffing them out. It may take me a while though.

 

I never collected anything car related....until bought my car 3 weeks ago..and realized I actually am a car guy And hunting for stuff is almost as much fun as seeing the results of working on my mav. :bananaman

Got a hot wheel mav off ebay turned into a key chain for 6 bucks.. I love it put my extra set of keys on it so I wont forget where I put those.

 

ok i give up. i went to walmart last night, did not see one maverick and then i checked the bins thay put all the hotwheels. i went threw all of them. the reason i know i went through all of them is because i pulled all of them from one side and stacked them individually in the empty one, and i still did not find one single maverick, so if someone has extras wwould you be willing to sell to me?

I now have 7 different color combination mavs. How many are there? I found 6 of the blue hot wheels logoed with the white racing stripes and number 8 on it the other day. 5 at target and one at fred's. My son got me the green with white, street beast car for christmas. He found it on line somewhere.

 

circulation is only about a couple of months, but they usually last for the year after also on selves.

The only ones I've seen are the red ones, which I bought several of at the Dollar Tree; and the blue metallic ones which I bought several of at the Dollar General.

Looking at the left hand side of the picture again, I realize I've got a mustard and a Grabber blue one from the 2010 series

Found a Super Treasure Hunt at Target the other day! They had three Mavericks in a row on the same peg and the third was the TH! :bananaman
