I'm the same way but with this version I usually only find one at any store but today was a little different. I found 2 at a Target, 2 at a Walmart and 4 at a K-Mart. I'm thinking that maybe Hot Wheels might not have made as many of this racers version as with the previous ones. The older ones, I could find 20 at a store all at once. :hmmm:

Took one apart to modify, the Hot Wheels are so easy to take apart.
Johnny Lightnings not so much, I'm amazed they only cost 3 times as much.
Because they're built 10 times better and have 5 times the details.

I found a yellow w/ black stripe grabber at the StrayKat 500 last month. I need to start looking for these. How many different ones are there?

Any chance any of these are still in stores or is it time to hit the collectors up? I have the one on the top left BTW

I have seen all of them still in stores, if you go to a 99 cents store they usually have the last 3 years stock. You can also pick them up on ebay for around $5-8 shipped.

I saw someone selling three different ones in one lot. I think it was something like $15 and free shipping. Then you'll have 4 and only need 3.

I have a couple of dollar type stores within a mile of the house. I may go and dig through the toy section tomorrow. Thanks for all of the info guys.

I know that some people like the hunt, but more than likely you will have to go to ebay if you really want them. I had to buy a couple off of ebay too.

Good luck! That same thing just happened to me the other day, except I was the seller. This guy bid on my item, then went back a few minutes later to just "buy it now". Well the "buy it now" was removed because he bid on it, so it raised his max bid instead. I told him I would end the auction if he wanted to pay the "bin" price. Send them a message, they might do the same thing.
