yea, It is kind of funny though. He sent me a msg after we had left to go to a OKC Thunder watch party tonight. When I got home I realized that I won the auction for 12.00 dollars. In the msg he told me to send him my email before the auction ended. I was at the watch party by this time. What I ended up doing was telling him to send me an invoice for the extra 3.00 dollars. I figure Karma will help me on this one.

The buy it now price as 15.00. I had already won the auction for 12.00 when I got the msg that he would sell it to me for 15.00. I went a head and paid him the 15.00 for the auction. Seemed like the right thing to do.

Its crazy, but I cannot seem to find this car at my local Wal Mart. There is either another collector beating me to them or my store just hasnt gotten any. There are several of the other new hot wheels themed models but not the Mav.

 

Bobo, I have some reds, I'll toss one in the car, if your around mid-america this weekend, give me a yell.

I scored serveral of the flame cars today. If you want I will trade you for a Grabber blue or a gold one. If you have an extra Kmart car we could also work something out. Let me know.

I found them at a local supermarket's dollar store. If any of the local guys want to check the others it was the warehouse market dollar store. I cleaned out the one at 3rd and Lewis but I bet the others have them. They had a big hot wheels display that I found four of them on. Then I found two more on the toy asile. I was giddy to say the least. The young lady at the check out asked me why I was buying so many and I told her I have that car. She thought I meant I "Have" the car that was used as the model for the paint. LOL Well the day is going pretty good so far.

Now just to find the Gold one, The Grabber blue one and the Kmart car. I dont think I am lucky enough to find a TH.

I'm planning on it, they let me sneak my old mustang in last year, I parked it and ran off, before they checked for credentials. It's allways a good time at the cruise, the only event that's not uncomfortably hot.

 

Thanks but I may not need one after all. My son and I were at the WM last night looking for one and he tells me that he has one via his description. He just turned 6. (Prob saving it for Fathers Day) So we'll see what he turns up with.

Let me check and see what I've got. I might have an extra Blue one. I only picked up a single Gold one because I just dont like it. I had to ebay a KMart as we do not have them in the area.

 

I bought one of the Kmart cars off of ebay last night. I figured it would save gas mileage to just do that.

I also just found out that there is a Hot Wheels show in Tulsa this weekend. It is free for spectators so we figured what the heck. Who knows we may find some kewl stuff up there.

If you end up needing one let me know and I will send one up to you. I think I have 8 or 9 of the flame cars now.

My maverick story..

I was walking through the grocery store and picked up a red grabber off the hotwheels display in the isle (there were 10 or so) It just so happened that I was looking for an old ford i could play with/dd. Up until that point I had been looking at some 67/68 cougars and a 65 stang. When I looked at the car i knew I had to find a maverick. Well I found one and bought it eventually But I carried that hotwheels in my pocket for months. Even took it on the cruise.
