That's the same color they use on the street beasts version, neat! :)

Just picked up 2 of the new purple Hot Wheels today from Evil Bay - I figure I'm set even if I never find another one at the stores :)

I hope they are truly purple, not just something from the flash. Seems like they are the only one on Epay selling them, as purple.

I am pretty sure they are legit. I got the information and have seen other photos of them on the mattel Hot Wheels collectors page. These are the real McCoy.

I was hoping for a black one next. Seems that all of the blue race team logo cars started out blue and went to black. The GTO, Nova, Chevelle etc why not the Maverick? The purple is to close to the blue in appearance. IMO

I can check the flash color the next time im on my computer.

I have software where I can do white balance compensation.

Basically flash produces blue light, by removing some blues you can tell whether it would be a blue or purple car.

Well it checks out in CS4 and LR3.5, it's legit.

I have several blue with yellow mav in its blister. they could sell or trade. but I think it would be more economical to find one in your country. because I'm from mexico and expensive deliveries would come out to Oklahoma.

The one that I am missing is the super or the blue with the white roof. Thanks though. Through forum, the hot wheel collectors forum and a little luck I have found all of the others except for the new purple one.

If anyone needs a yellow one there's one on listia for $3, it's this weird ebay like site except you use credits instead of money. When you sign up you get 500 credits.

This seller has one and is asking for $3 in shipping. It hasn't even gotten a bid last two times it was up so you can sign up, bid 500 and just pay the $3 shipping to get it.

Most people are too cheap on there to bid on stuff that doesn't have free shipping so it'll be an easy buy.

My co-worker is a hot wheels nut. He gave me 5 green hotwheels a year ago incase I knew anybody that wanted them. I totally forgot about them for a while. He asked me today whatever happened with them. found 3 more still in my desk.

I told him I would ask here. $10 shipped USPS is what he wants now since they are hard to find and cover costs. I only have 3 so PM me if you need one.
