i swear every time i go into that place there is always something that bad happens. i went today to pick up most of my car part ( control arm and to upper ball joints and tie rode end). so i got them and went home i was putting grease mights in and the one that go's into the control arm wouldnt go. so i said no big deal went and put the grease might in one of the upper ball joint and put it on the car, went back to do the same with the other one and guess what its the wrong ball joint.:badwords: i mean really i waited 3 days for the wrong parts. and to top this i got one control arm from advance and it look twice as nice as the one from auto zone.:16suspect

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Out here auto zone is the cheapest but their parts are not even worth it.

It's probably been a good 5 years since I've been to one. Napa and O'reilly treat me good.

These cars are over 40 years old. Waiting for parts is norm. Getting wrong parts is the norm. That is why they make good hobby cars.

O'Reilly has done me good, for the most part. Or ebay. Or Craig Selvey. :D

Out of all the car parts stores out there.....Auto Zone is my last choice. I only nuy name brand stuff there. Their stuff is cheap for a reason.

    I still wouldn't shop there.

Before you buy anything, I suggest you ask on here what to look for and where to get it. Fix it right the first time.

Rock auto should have everything you need. Might take a few days in shipping, but well worth it to get the right parts from name brand mfgs. Most of the chains have store brand stuff cheaper, but it's also made cheaper. I use MOOG or Raybestos front end parts, never had a problem.

I bought a motor mount from AZ. Spent 4 hours trying to put the engine in. Finally figured out the holes didn't line up. Made in Taiwan. I use Merle's out here and they give me a discount on the prices.:)
