Sweet car. Not many cars would be worth giving up the blue mave but a nice Cobra would make me switch it up too. Have fun with it, hope to see those miles on it doubled very soon.

Bet it is a tire burner with the 460, curious though why do you not like it?

    Congrats Ray! Great looking car.

Was a dream of mine to own one. Have saved a 427 side oiler block for years for one. Even visited the Everett Morrison factory once while on vacation in Tampa back in the 90's. Kids came along and things changed.

I love it. I want one. Having a replica is almost better than having a real one. Who would actually drive a $400,000 plus real thing on a regular basis to cruise-ins? :16suspect Can I have it when you get tired of it?:Handshake

Nice car Ray. You know we all are jealous of you now. And yes we would still welcome you to bring it to a Gathering. (y)

I understand that. You've had that car way too long.
Oh, come to think of it I think there's a GT40 going pretty cheap right now. Might be the right time for you. (if you can get past the sound of the VW engine). :D

Ray, sweet car. My neighbor is a Shell Valley Choice Builder, independant builder for Shell Valley. He and I bat it back and forth about the Shell cars and the Stage II of mine but he is to much of a clone purist in trying to match the originals. I love the originals but the clones even more because of the fact that technology has come so far since 1968 and what is done under the body is not limited. Again, sweet car hope you enjoy it.
